Cyclotech are specialised suppliers of Produced Water Treatment and Sand Management equipment. Over recent years, it has become evident that there is a strong industry demand for temporary leased separation equipment where the key drivers are:
  • Proof of Technical Viability. Performance prediction of Produced Water Treatment and Sand Management systems can be very difficult due to the uncertainty of the feed conditions. Many operators would prefer to remove this uncertainty by performing a small scale test on live fluids prior to committing major investment on a full scale installation;
  • Temporary Production Equipment. If permanent equipment is to be taken off line for upgrade or maintenance, or new permanent equipment is awaited, there is often a requirement for a short term temporary solution to cover these transition periods to maintain production;
  • Service Equipment. Service operations such as pipe clean up, separator cleaning and well work overs can require specialised sand removal and water treatment systems;
  • Resource Shortage. In recent years, material deliveries have lengthened and material prices have increased dramatically causing delays and cost escalations to oil field projects.  The use of leased equipment allows the operator to circumvent the traditional supply chain and utilise equipment that is available and free from competitive tender design constraints;
  • Fiscal Benefits. There are many fiscal advantages to leasing rather than purchasing capital equipment. These include tax, balance sheet, cash flow and credit line incentives.

Production Scale Equipment

Cyclotech have responded to this demand and the lack of global supply by offering an unparalleled fleet of flexible, production scale skid mounted separation packages available on long or short term lease contracts. The equipment is available globally but supported at a local level which allows Cyclotech to assist the customer in the design, integration, operation and manning of these temporary systems.
