Leased Equipment

Cyclotech are specialised suppliers of Produced Water Treatment and Sand Management equipment. Over recent years, it has become evident that there is a strong industry demand for temporary leased separation equipment where the key drivers are:

Proof of Technical Viability. Performance prediction of Produced Water Treatment and Sand Management systems can be very difficult due to the uncertainty of the feed conditions. Many operators would prefer to remove this uncertainty by performing a small scale test on live fluids prior to committing major investment on a full scale installation;
Temporary Production Equipment. If permanent equipment is to be taken off line for upgrade or maintenance, or new permanent equipment is awaited, there is often a requirement for a short term temporary solution to cover these transition periods to maintain production;
Service Equipment. Service operations such as pipe clean up, separator cleaning and well work overs can require specialised sand removal and water treatment systems;
Resource Shortage. In recent years, material deliveries have lengthened and material prices have increased dramatically causing delays and cost escalations to oil field projects. The use of leased equipment allows the operator to circumvent the traditional supply chain and utilise equipment that is available and free from competitive tender design constraints;
Fiscal Benefits. There are many fiscal advantages to leasing rather than purchasing capital equipment. These include tax, balance sheet, cash flow and credit line incentives.

Production Scale Equipment

Cyclotech have responded to this demand and the lack of global supply by offering an unparalleled fleet of flexible, production scale skid mounted separation packages available on long or short term lease contracts. The equipment is available globally but supported at a local level which allows Cyclotech to assist the customer in the design, integration, operation and manning of these temporary systems.

Pilot Scale Test Equipment

Cyclotech have a range of pilot scale single liner test equipment available for technical viability verification applications. These test units are compact, require no utilities and come complete with all required valving, instrumentation and hosing.

DES3/FTU Particle Characterisation Field Test Skid Nominal Flowrate: 1600 bpd Pressure Rating: 300# Materials of Construction: 316 SS with ceramic internals These test units are used to characterise (i) the sand production in terms of production rates, particle size and oil on sand contamination levels and (ii) MC Series Desanding Hydrocyclone Separation and Cleaning Performance.

Analsyer Equipment

To complement our range of rental separation equipment, Cyclotech have a range of Particle Sizing Analysis equipment available for rental as part of a larger rental scope or individually. Full training will be provided on request if Cyclotech operation personnel are not required.
