Upstream separation technology company, Cyclotech, has established a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore. Cyclotech Asia Pte Ltd will be the focal point for the company’s Chinese and South East Asian business operations. Cyclotech specialises in the provision of innovative compact solutions for produced water and sand treatment.

At the opening of the new offices in Singapore, Group Managing Director, David Hadfield, announced the appointment of Lu Min as Cyclotech’s Regional Manager in Asia. Lu Min has been involved in providing separation solutions to the upstream industry in China and South East Asia for over 20 years.

He has been associated with Cyclotech as its regional representative for five years having previously worked in Singapore for Baker Hughes and the Keppel-FELS Group.

Speaking from the new offices David Hadfield said, “We are delighted that Lu Min has agreed to run our operation in Singapore. His experience and knowledge of the local market will be a huge asset to us.”

David continued, “With hubs already established in UK, Norway and Houston, we identified Singapore as the next stage in our development plan. With support and funding from Aberdeen Asset Managers we have been able to take this step earlier than originally planned. Asia presents significant growth opportunities for us. We are already executing work in Singapore for the South East Asia market and anticipate that within three years this office will be generating around 30% of our global business.”
